I have a folding frame clothesline and the black Pivot parts have broken at each end, What do I need to fix that?
If the broken part/s are at the top of your wall bracket, your most likely need Pivot Assembly Duo (for a double frame clothesline) or Pivot Assembly Mono (for a single frame clothesline). These pivots come in packs of 2 so you will only need order item to replace for both sides of your product.If it is the Pivot Moulding on the bottom of your Wall Bracket you probably need the Small Bayonet Pivot and Small Bayonet Pivot Cap. For these parts you need to order 1 for each side of the Clothesline.
My wall mounted clothesline won’t stay up, how can I fix that?
Please raise the clothesline SLOWLY until you hear the struts (telescopic arms) ‘click’ once. If you hear them ‘click’ twice it means that the struts have disengaged and the product will fold down. If the struts don’t engage on both sides first time, please repeat the process until they are both locked into place.If your product still does not stay up after trying this procedure then it could be that you need to replace a strut mechanism. Please refer to the Spare Part page to select the Strut Assembly that suits your Folding Frame model.I want to relocate my Rotary Folding Hoist, how can do I remove it from the ground socket?
Firstly undo the locking cap and pour hot soapy water into the ground socket hole, rock the stem of clothesline to get water around pole, wait approximately 5 minutes then try pulling clothesline out of the Ground Socket.My old fixed head Clothesline won’t wind up or down.
You may require need a new secondary standard assembly FD900980 as the metal plug at the bottom of your current one could have corroded. This will cause the worm inside your product to go up inside the top tube and not push it up.A new secondary standard assembly FD900980 will fit your product if you have a handle casing that has 8 bolts holding it together and where the outer tube is 57mm or 2 ¼ inches in diameter. If you have a casing with 4 bolts holding it together it will not fit.
My Rotary hoist can’t stay up and the arm keep collapsing, How can I fix it?
If it is an old model ( + 10 years) you may need to replace the Latch FD902442.If it is the new Rotary 6, 7 or 8 please check if the line sections are over tensioned. If you believe that they are please re-tension the line via the manual. If it doesn’t solve the issue, you probably need to replace the latch spring FD900028.
On my Retracting Clothesline one of my lines will not retract back into the cabinet.
